The President of the National Bank of Moldova, Anca Dragu, is taking part in the annual Euromoney Forum 2025 in Vienna

As noted in the NBM press release, this is the most important annual financial meeting for the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, which opened on Tuesday. The Euromoney Forum is being held in Vienna on January 14-15 in the context of the end of a year marked by inflation, events in the energy sector and the war in Ukraine. The forum discusses the prospects for monetary policy in 2025, the main tasks of the central banks of the region, practical issues related to the restoration of Ukraine and the challenges facing the energy transition. On the second day of the forum, as part of the panel entitled "Central banks after the storm", Anca Dragu will deliver a report on the achievements of the National Bank of Moldova in maintaining a stable inflation rate, supervisory measures and ensuring the stability of the financial sector. On the sidelines of the event, the NBM Governor will take part in a number of bilateral meetings, as well as in a dialogue forum dedicated to the role of women in the financial and banking system. Anca Dragu will also give an interview to the international press: Bloomberg and Reuters. The Euromoney Forum is the most prestigious conference for investment and capital markets professionals in the Central and Eastern European region. For the 30th year, Euromoney offers business leaders and decision makers the opportunity to exchange ideas, establish new contacts and take part in informed and impartial discussions.
