Up to 10 thousand Moldovan companies are potentially eligible to receive compensation for electricity - Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization
The specialized agency announced this, noting that these compensations to economic agents are an important support for domestic producers. The Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization stressed that the support will be directed where it is needed the most - to the companies, for which electricity bills constitute a significant share of production costs. Priority will be given to companies that produce essential products in our country: milk, meat, eggs, bread, etc. Support will also be extended to other important manufacturing industries, such as manufacturers of shoes, clothing, furniture, electrical components, and others. In particular, up to 10,000 companies are potentially eligible for these compensations. The compensation will be applied from the first day of the tariff increase. Up to 50% of the electricity tariff increase will be compensated for a period of 3 to 6 months, depending on available financial resources as well as needs. “In this way, entrepreneurs will be able to solve problems and become more competitive,” said the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization. //13.01.2025 - InfoMarket.
