Power outages program will be applied in Moldova only for some time in case of energy shortages in the system - Cabinet of Ministers
Government spokesman Daniel Voda said this, noting that the blackouts will be proportional and will be adjusted depending on the duration and severity of the shortage, without discriminating between consumers. In case of power shortages, the interruptions will be applied proportionally without affecting vital institutions. “These are temporary measures designed to ensure stability in the energy sector and they will by no means last for days. Therefore, in some cases we are talking about hours or another time interval that the companies will announce,” emphasized Daniel Voda. He noted that a well-structured plan has been prepared, approved by the government, which includes measures to ensure the continuity of power supply and reduce the impact on consumers. The government spokesman urged citizens to use energy efficiently and support measures to prevent power losses by reducing non-essential consumption. “The peak interval of electricity consumption is between 07.00 to 11.00 and 18.00 to 23.00. During these intervals, try not to overload the power grid and use only the resources you need,” Daniel Voda said. // 24.12.2024 - InfoMarket.
