The Moldovan government has appointed new ministers of the Interior Ministry, Agriculture Ministry and the Infrastructure and Regional Development Ministry.
Prime Minister Dorin Recean told a press conference on Monday evening that Vladimir Bolea, who was deputy prime minister and minister of agriculture and food industry, will become the new minister of infrastructure and regional development. In his place, the agriculture ministry will be headed by Ludmila Catlabug, executive director of the Association of Milk and Dairy Producers. Daniella Misail-Nichitin, who was secretary of state at the interior ministry, will replace Adrian Efros as head of the interior ministry. The new ministers will take office on Tuesday, November 19. Dorin Recean said that the reshuffle was made taking into account the very high expectations of citizens from the government, and the nominations of the new ministers were discussed during consultations with civil society, professional associations, experts, the parliamentary faction of the Action and Solidarity Party and representatives of the Presidential Administration.
