The Cabinet of Ministers approved this level of average monthly salary, taking into account the macroeconomic indicators forecasted by the Ministry of Economy and Digitalization for 2024-2026. Compared to 2023, the forecasted level of average monthly salary for the economy has been increased by 2,000 lei (+17.1%). In 2023, the government's projected average salary for the economy was 11,700 lei, in 2022 - 9,900 lei, in 2021 - 8,716 lei, in 2020 - 7,953 lei, in 2019 - 6,975 lei.
