The Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization has started elaborating the program for economic diplomacy development for 2023-2027.
In particular, the agency held the first meeting of the Working Group for the elaboratin of the draft of the named program. During the event the concept of the program was presented, the objectives and priorities of the sector were discussed. The purpose of the Program of economic diplomacy development for 2023-2027 is to ensure an effective framework of institutional cooperation to achieve the goals of economic diplomacy of Moldova related to attraction of investments and export promotion. They will contribute to the economic development and deepening of foreign economic relations. During the discussions, actions and tasks to be performed by the members of the working group were outlined. The state policy document, which will be drafted by the competent ministry in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration and other relevant institutions, will represent a five-year program, describing the priority actions and resources needed to solve the identified problems to achieve the goals of economic diplomacy for our country, with an impact on economic development of Moldovan citizens and economic agents. The working group includes representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Justice, Customs Service and other institutions.
