
The Moldovan authorities will help auto industry companies to solve the problems they face in the context of the regional crisis.
This was stated by Minister of Economy Dumitru Alaiba at a meeting with representatives of the automotive industry. According to the Ministry of Economy, the parties discussed the problems and difficulties faced by companies from the automotive industry in the context of the crisis in the region, as well as their opportunities and results. Among the problems characteristic of the current period, the following were named: lack of labor force; logistical challenges that depend on cooperation between many institutions; limits for travel expenses and food stamps, etc. During the meeting, an attempt was made to identify ways to solve the problems faced by manufacturers in the industry, and it was agreed to hold further meetings. Dumitru Alaiba noted that as part of the continuation of the dialogue with the business environment, he had a frank conversation with representatives of the automotive industry, during which the parties discussed the problems of automotive companies in the context of the regional crisis, but first of all, how the authorities can help them grow and develop in Moldova . “We discussed some logistical issues that we will solve. We discussed the costs that companies incur and how to help them. Together we discussed how we can overcome one of the biggest challenges facing our economy: the labor force. We will solve them all, one by one. We have to recover from not a very good year from an economic point of view. We will support entrepreneurs,” the Minister of Economy wrote on his social media page.
