Prices for electricity supplied by Premier Energy and Furnizarea Energiei Electrice Nord will decrease in Moldova starting 1 January 2023.
According to a decision of ANRE, which approved on Friday the applications filed by both companies, the electricity prices for Premier Energy's residential consumers, whose power installations are connected to the low-voltage (0.4 kWh) distribution power grids, were cut by 26% - from 4.62 to 3.42 lei/kWh. For similar consumers of FEE Nord the tariff was reduced by 17.4% - from 4.65 to 3.84 lei/kWh. The reason for the decrease in the tariffs was stated to be a decrease in the electricity purchase price. It is worth mentioning that Premier Energy asked for a price reduction to 3.8 lei per 1kWh for Premier Energy domestic consumers, whose electric installations are connected to the low-voltage (0.4kWh) distribution network, and FEE Nord - down to 4.16 lei per 1kWh. This is the second price reduction for Premier Energy and FEE Nord consumers over the last month. On December 8, the electricity prices for Premier Energy consumers, whose households are connected to a low-voltage (0.4kWh) distribution network, were reduced from 5.91 to 4.62 lei/kWh (-21.8%) by ANRE decision. For similar FEE Nord consumers, the tariff was reduced from 5.60 to 4.65 lei/kWh (-17%). Prior to this, since the beginning of the year, tarrifs have risen five times, the last of which was on 2 December. // 30.12.2022 – InfoMarket
