
Energocom will purchase up to 263 thousand MWh of electricity from Moldavskaya GRES in January 2023, which will cover 86% of the needs of the right bank of the Dniester River.
State company Energocom announced this while commenting on the extension of the power supply contract with Moldavskaya GRES for January, 2023. It was mentioned that the minimum volume of power purchases will be 251 thousand MWh, and the maximum - 263 thousand MWh as compared to 204 thousand MWh in December, 2022. It is noted that, thus, the electric power purchased from the Moldavskaya GRES in January will account for 86% of the necessary volume for consumption on the right bank of the Dniester, in addition to the energy generated from renewable sources and cogeneration plants.
