The Chisinau Municipal Council approved the rates of local fees for 2023
According to the approved document, the main part of the rates next year will increase in line with the growth of inflation over the previous year (+5.1%). The nomenclature of types of trade units will also be updated and the amount of fees for them will increase. In particular, in 2023 the rate of the fee for the improvement of territories will increase - from 165 to 174 lei per year per employee; for advertising - from 5.2% to 5.5% of the income from the sale of services for the placement and / or distribution of advertising; for the use of local symbols - from 0.26% to 0.27% of the income from the sale of products, for parking - from 31 to 33 lei per year per 1 sq. m; fee for advertising devices - from 775 to 815 lei per year for 1 sq. m., fee for temporary residence - from 3% to 5% of income from sales of services. The fee for organizing auctions and lotteries will be reduced from 0.3% to 0.27% of income from the sale of goods declared for auctions or the amount for which lottery tickets are issued. The size of market fees will increase: for food, agricultural, non-food and mixed markets, it will increase from 50 to 53 lei per year per 1 sq. m; for car markets operating on the outskirts of the city with an operating mode of 1-3 days a week - from 15 to 16 lei per 1 sq. m; for car markets operating on the outskirts of the city 6-7 days a week - from 38 to 40 lei per 1 sq. m; for car markets operating within the city 1-3 days a week - from 72 to 76 lei per 1 sq. m; for car markets operating within the city 6-7 days a week - from 87 to 91 lei per 1 sq. m. For flower markets operating around the clock, which are located along the perimeter of parks of culture and recreation, the local fee will increase from 870 to 914 lei per 1 sq. m.; and for other flower markets - from 73 to 77 lei per 1 sq. m. For second-hand markets, the fee will increase from 19 to 20 lei per 1 sq. m. At the same time, at the current level, it is proposed to keep the fee from dog owners - 120 lei per animal, provided by the accommodation structures, as well as the fee for sanitary cleaning - 10 lei per person. The fee rate for entities that provide passenger transportation services in the taxi mode will increase from 350 to 370 lei per month per vehicle. Fees will also increase for some units that serve regular routes, the total rates range from 325 to 800 lei per month, depending on the route. The fee from online stores will increase from 7.5 thousand to 8 thousand lei, while for online stores that sell vegetables and fruits of their own production, a zero fee rate will be applied. As before, a fee of 50% of this amount will apply in the first year of the online store. The fee from halls for organizing bets, including the sale of lottery tickets, will increase from 15 thousand to 15.8 thousand lei, the organizers of halls with slot machines with winnings will pay a fee of 320 thousand lei instead of 300 thousand lei, and the fee from the casino will grow from 600 thousand to 630 thousand lei. Herewith, electronic casinos are singled out as a separate category (activities in the field of electronic gambling and sports betting through websites) - the collection rate for them will be 500 thousand lei. The fee for gas stations will increase from 80,000 to 84,000 lei per dispenser, and the fee for electric car charging stations will remain at zero. Fees from trade enterprises, HoReCa, and the provision of services will increase. It is worth noting that during the consideration of the project, some councilors proposed to set even higher fees for casinos, supermarkets, etc., however, the proposals were not supported by the municipal council.
