The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) reported that, the export of domestic goods in 10 months of 2022 amounted to $2 billion 529.8 million (69.7% of the total volume), up 35.7%, compared to the same period last year. At the same time, re-exports of goods in January-October this year amounted to $1 billion 099.8 million (30.3% of the total volume), which is 86.1% more than in the same period of 2021. At the same time, re-exports of goods after processing (clothing, shoes, shoes parts, chairs, electric wires and cables, other products for the automotive industry, peeled nuts, chairs and other furniture, suitcases, textile products, toys, etc.) amounted to 11.9% of the total volume, while classic re-exports of foreign goods (gasoline, diesel fuel, vehicles, nuts, medicine, sunflower oil, sunflower seeds, cigarettes, wine distillates, whiskey, gin, vodka, liquors, beer, fabrics, knitwear, essential oils, perfumes and cosmetics, travel and sports bags, backpacks, wrist and other watches, corn) accounted for 18.4%. According to the NBS data, for exporting goods abroad in the mentioned period, road transport was used most often - 76.3% of the total volume, followed by sea transport - 13.9%, railroad transport - 8.3%, air transport - 1% and fixed transport units (0.5%). Overall, Moldovan exports to the EU countries in January-October 2022, compared to the same period in 2021, increased by 42.3% - up to $2 billion 148.3 million, to the CIS countries - increased 2.2 times - up to $828.1 million, and to other countries - increased by 13.8% - up to $653.2 million. The share of EU countries in the total volume of Moldovan exports for the specified period decreased from 61.46% to CIS - increased from 15.16% to 22.82%, while the share of non-EU and CIS countries decreased from 23.38% to 18%. According to the NBS, the main destination countries for Moldovan exports in the reporting period were: Romania (28.5% of total Moldovan exports), Ukraine (15.5%), Italy (7.9%), Turkey (7.5%) , Germany (5.4%), Russia (4.6%), Bulgaria (3.7%), Poland (2.8%), Czech Republic (2.3%), Belarus and Switzerland (1.7% each) ), Netherlands (1.6%), UK (1.5%), Iran (1.4%), Hungary (1.2%), USA (1%), France and Spain (0.9% each) , Greece (0.8%), Portugal (0.6%), Kazakhstan, Austria, Iraq (0.5% each).
