Gazprom has officially confirmed the volumes of gas contracted for deliveries to Moldova in May, the expected purchase price is $910 per 1,000 cubic meters.
This was announced by the Chairman of the Board of "Moldovagaz" Vadim Ceban, noting that 32 million cubic meters were contracted for the Right Bank and 131 million cubic meters - for the left bank of the Dniester. Deliveries are planned to be carried out via the traditional gas transportation route. Thus, Gazprom will continue to supply gas to Moldova after May 1, although earlier the Moldovan authorities had fears that Gazprom could terminate or suspend the contract for gas supplies, since the Moldovan side failed to fulfill the agreements on auditing the historical debt " Moldovagaz" to Gazprom for the gas consumed on the right bank of the Dniester, as well as the signing of an agreement on the settlement of this debt by May 1, 2022. The government requested Gazprom to postpone the audit, but received no response.
