According to the press service of the department, this decision was made after an online meeting between the head of the Ministry of Economy, Sergiu Gaibu, and the director general of the Investment Agency, Stelian Manic, with business representatives from various industries. The meeting took place in the context of the problems faced by importers of raw materials from Russia, Belarus and Ukraine, as well as exporters to these countries. The Minister of Economy noted that it is necessary to ensure information exchange in order to understand the needs in the provision of goods and raw materials, as well as in the organization of logistics and transportation of goods. “We are negotiating with sectoral ministries to organize new cargo corridors and promptly solve the problem of reorienting trade flows. We have international openness in this regard, we will determine the most effective strategies for action and communication to ensure stability,” the minister said. In addition, the meeting discussed employment opportunities for Ukrainian refugees. Representatives of the IT sector (Association of Private IT Companies of Moldova and IT Park Moldova) expressed their openness to Ukrainian specialists wishing to get a job in our country.
