Electricity tariffs in Moldova for end consumers will be increased in two stages - NAER.

Veaceslav Untila, Director General of the National Agency for Energy Regulation, announced this, noting that NAER will consider the request of suppliers to increase the electricity tariff at its meeting on February 15. According to the preliminary calculations of the energy regulator, the tariff for residential consumers of Premier Energy can increase at the first stage from 1.51 to 1.92 lei per 1 kWh. At the same time, as Veaceslav Untila stressed, the next stage of electricity tariff increase is expected after April 1, when a new contract for the supply of electricity will be signed, its new purchase price and the amount of negative deviations of electricity distribution companies will be known. Previously, Premier Energy offered to increase the tariff for the supplied electricity by 1.85 times for end consumers whose electrical installations are connected to low voltage distribution networks (0.4 kV) - from 151 bani per 1 kWh to 278.99 bani (without VAT). It should be noted that the last adjustment of electricity tariffs for end consumers in Moldova was made at the end of January 2021, and then, by the decision of NAER, electricity tariffs for residential consumers of Premier Energy decreased from February 1, 2021 by 10.1% - to 151 bani for 1 kWh.//02.02.2022 – InfoMarket.
