The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) reported that, herewith, the export of domestic goods for 9 months in 2021 amounted to $1 billion 579.9 million (75.1% of the total), up 19.2% against the same period last year. At the same time, the re-export of goods in January-September 2021 amounted to $523.4 million (24.9% of the total), which is 27.1% more than in the same period in 2020. At the same time, the re-export of goods after processing (clothes, shoes, shoe parts, armchairs, electrical wiring and cables, other products for the automotive industry, peeled nuts, chairs and other furniture, suitcases, textiles, toys, etc.) accounted for 16.9% of total exports, and the classic re-export of foreign goods (medicines, cigarettes, wine distillates, whiskey, gin, vodka, liqueurs, beer, fuel, fabrics, knitwear, essential oils, perfumes and cosmetics, vehicles, furniture, etc.) - 8 %. According to the NBS, for the export of goods abroad during this period, road transport was most often used - 88.1% of the total, followed by sea transport - 7%, rail - 3.7%, air - 1.2%. In general, Moldovan exports to the EU countries for 9 months in 2021 increased by 12.9% - to $1 billion 288.5 million against the same period of 2020, to the CIS countries - increased by 17.4% - to $322.9 million, and to other countries - increased 1.5 times - up to $491.9 million. The share of EU countries in the total volume of Moldovan exports for the specified period decreased from 65.68% to 61.26%, the share of CIS countries decreased from 15.83% to 15.35%, while the share of other countries increased from 18.49% to 23.39%. According to the NBS, the main countries of destination for Moldovan exports in the reporting period were: Romania (26.9% of total Moldovan exports), Turkey (9.7%), Russia (9.2%), Germany (8.9%), Italy (7.5%), Poland (3.67%), Ukraine (3%), Switzerland and the Czech Republic (2.9% each), Belarus and the United Kingdom (2.2% each), Bulgaria (1.9 %), Hungary (1.4%), Holland (1.2%), France (1.1%), Spain, Greece and Lebanon (1% each), USA (0.9%). At the same time, in January-September 2021, relative to the same period of 2020, Moldova increased exports to Turkey (1.8 times), Romania (+ 16.3%), Russia (+ 19%), Germany (+ 15.8%), Ukraine (+ 38%), Switzerland (+ 39.4%), Great Britain (+ 49.2%), Hungary (1.7 times), UAE (26.3 times ), Bulgaria (+ 38.2%), Lebanon (2.1 times), Belgium (2 times), Portugal (1.8 times), Israel (2.7 times), Italy (+2, 8%), Slovakia (1.6 times), Poland (+ 5%), Egypt (17.7 times), Bangladesh (10.6 times), Czech Republic (+ 4.9%), Uzbekistan ( 1.8 times), Libya (131.7 times), Canada (1.5 times), Tunisia (7.1 times), China (+ 22%), Serbia (+ 23.7%), Malaysia (+ 47.2%), Nigeria (2.1 times), Chile (25.1 times), North Macedonia (1.8 times), Japan (1.6 times). At the same time, during the specified period, Moldova reduced exports to Cyprus (-56.7%), Georgia (-18.9%), Greece (-13.3%), Belarus (-5.7%), Spain (-11.2%), Jordan (-72.2%), Kazakhstan (-14.6%), USA (-5.3%), Morocco (-90%). In the structure of exports for 9 months in 2021, about 92% of the total Moldovan exports accounted for six product groups: food and live animals (23.1%); vehicles and equipment for transport (22.5%); various industrial products (20.5%); non-food raw materials (10.3%); industrial goods (8.5%), beverages and tobacco (7.1%). // 17.11.2021 – InfoMarket
