At the same time, compared to Q2 2020, salaries in Chisinau increased by 15.3%. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, in Q2 2021, the average salary in the budgetary sector of Chisinau was 9,821.8 lei (+ 9.2% compared to the same period in 2020), in the real sector of the municipality's economy - 10,891, 2 lei (+ 16.3%). The highest salaries in Chisinau during this period were received by workers in the sphere of public administration and defense, as well as compulsory social insurance – 12,739.1 lei (+ 11.7%), and the lowest - in agriculture, forestry and fish farming in Chisinau municipality - 5 764.6 lei (+ 3.9%).
