In Moldova, the average selling prices of agricultural products by agricultural enterprises in the first half of 2021, compared to the same period in 2020, increased by 23.8%.

This was reported by the National Bureau of Statistics, noting that, at the same time, in January-June 2021, in comparison with the same period of the previous year, producer prices for crop products increased by an average of 24.5%. Herewith, producer prices rose most significantly for soybeans - by 59.7%, sunflower - by 56.9%, corn - by 53%, oats - by 42.7%, cereals and legumes - by 42%, barley - by 33.8%, rye - 25.8%, wheat - 25.4%. Meanwhile, producer prices for vegetables decreased by 16.3% (of which greenhouse vegetables - by 26.5%, field vegetables - by 15.6%), potatoes - by 15.8%. Thus, prices for livestock products in the first half of 2021, compared to the same period last year, increased by an average of 22.9%. In particular, the prices of eggs increased by 26.2%, cattle and poultry (in live weight) - by 23.9%, milk - by 5.4%.
