
The Government of Moldova approved the Program of Measures for the Reintegration of the Country for 2021 with a total budget of 15 million lei
Within the framework of it, a total of 41 selected projects will be financed in settlements located in the Security Zone. These projects are designed to help strengthen confidence-building measures between the population on both banks of the Dniester and achieve the goal of reintegrating the country. They envisage the repair or modernization of social institutions, local infrastructure, provision of basic services to the population on both banks of the Dniester, etc. In total, this year, 143 project proposals were submitted to the competition for a total amount of 72.08 million lei. In general, the Country Reintegration Program is aimed at financing projects for the development and modernization of social institutions, maintenance of buildings and water supply systems, public lighting in settlements located in the Security Zone, as well as other activities that contribute to confidence-building measures among the population from both banks of the Dniester and implementation of the government's goal of reintegrating the country. Projects within the framework of the Country Reintegration Action Program for 2021 were considered and pre-selected by a Commission consisting of representatives of the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure, the Ministry of Justice, the State Chancellery and the National Anti-Corruption Center. The main goal of these projects is a direct and immediate impact on the standard of living of citizens and the provision of quality services to the population.
