39 investment projects will receive "business vouchers" for the development and support of internationalization.

According to the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure, ODIMM approved gratuitous financing for the first 39 investment projects under the Program to Support Enterprises with High Growth and Internationalization Potential. Investment projects with a total value of 4.4 million euros will receive support under the "business voucher" scheme. During the ceremony of signing contracts with the beneficiaries, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy Iulia Dragalin noted that the participation of enterprises in this program is a step towards access to a diversified and competitive foreign market, potential development partners and the opportunity to benefit from foreign investments necessary to accelerate business growth, attract qualified labor force, high-performance logistics and other advantages. She noted that stimulating investment in improving the competitiveness and productivity of SMEs will contribute to an accelerated and sustainable increase in national income and, at the same time, provide Moldova with a number of opportunities to fully benefit from the existing free trade agreements (DCFTA, CEFTA, agreements with CIS and Turkey). It will also make a significant contribution to the achievement of the goals of the National Development Strategy "Moldova 2030". According to preliminary estimates, the implementation of this program will increase the volume of investments in the economy by about 180 million lei, while at least 80% of SMEs will promote their products and services through national and international electronic platforms. As a reminder, the Program to Support Enterprises with High Growth and Internationalization Potential was approved last summer and will be implemented in a pilot mode for 36 months. Within the framework of the program, small and medium-sized enterprises of Moldova can receive advisory and mentoring support, as well as financial assistance in the form of business vouchers worth 50 thousand lei and grants (up to 2 million lei). // 24.05.2021 - InfoMarket.
