According to the department, at the same time, in March 2021, the volume of industrial production increased by 17.1%, compared to the same month of the previous year. In general, in January-March 2021, compared to the same period in 2020, production volumes in the extractive industry decreased by 12.7%, and in the processing industry - decreased by 2.8%. According to the NBS, food industry enterprises in the first 3 months of 2021, compared to the same period in 2020, reduced overall production by 19.2%. The production of beverages decreased by 0.8%, textile products - increased by 30.3%, clothing - increased by 5.8%. For tanning and leather finishing; production of suitcases, bags, harness and saddlery; dressing and dyeing of fur increased by 6.1%, and in the section wood processing and production of products from wood and cork, except for furniture; production of products from straw and other plant materials for plaiting - an increase of 57.6%. Production of paper and paper products increased by 1.8%, while production of chemicals and chemical products decreased by 5.8%. The output of pharmaceutical products and pharmaceuticals increased by 15.5%, rubber and plastic products - decreased by 3.4%. In the metallurgical industry, production increased by 42.1%. The output of metal structures and products, except for machinery, equipment and installations, increased by 13.9%, computers, electronic and optical products - increased by 84.3%. The production of electrical equipment decreased by 22.9%, machinery and equipment - increased by 32.9%, cars, trailers and semi-trailers - decreased by 25.2%. Furniture production increased by 26.6%. In the section repair, maintenance and installation of machinery and equipment, was registered an increase of 20.6%. The production and supply of electricity and heat, gas, hot water showed an increase of 24.2%.
