Floris van Eijk, head of the Dutch embassy office in Moldova, said this during a meeting with the President of the National Bank of Moldova, Octavian Armasu. According to the NBM, the parties discussed the progress achieved in the financial and banking sector of Moldova, maintaining its resilience to the challenges of the pandemic, as well as strengthening cooperation between Moldova and Holland in the financial and banking sector and the prospects for its development. The head of the NBM spoke about the experience of cooperation between the National Bank of Moldova and the Dutch authorities in recent years in many areas of banking. These include, inter alia, banking supervision, corporate governance, prudential compliance, risk management and other improvements that have consolidated the sector. Octavian Armasu also highly appreciated the openness of the Netherlands for providing advice and technical assistance in the area of the National Bank's activities.
