The information system "Electronic Sales Monitoring" is planned to be launched from June 1.
The Ministry of Finance is conducting public consultations on several projects related to the implementation of electronic sales monitoring. In particular, the department has developed a draft Regulation on the exchange of data between cash register equipment and the Electronic Sales Monitoring Information System; draft Regulation on certification of cash register equipment, draft Regulation on the functioning of the Certification Center of cash register equipment, as well as a list of services and tariffs for certification of cash register equipment. In addition, it was proposed to amend the technical requirements for cash register equipment, and after October 1, registration in the Unified Register of cash register equipment that does not meet the new technical requirements will be impossible. At the same time, an already used cash register equipment that does not meet the new requirements can be applied for a limited period, according to the approved schedule, depending on the model, year of registration and scope. For example, a non-conforming cash register equipment used in the field of passenger transportation by taxi services can be operated until the end of 2023, in foreign exchange offices - until 2024, and the old cash register equipment models from 1998-2004 registrations used in the field of trade or services can be applied until the end of 2021. Herewith, the draft stipulates that it is not yet necessary to register information systems with / without electronic devices in the Unified Register of cash register equipment intended for registering cash transactions without fiscal printers that are integrated into the Gateway fiscal or Electronic Sales Monitoring Information System. It is envisaged that the Center for Information Technologies in Finance will ensure the work of the cash register equipment Certification Center and will provide services in accordance with the approved tariffs. By June 1, it is planned to launch the Electronic Sales Monitoring Information System and provide access to it on the STS website - www.mev.gov.md. From October 1, the exchange of data between cash register equipment and the Electronic Sales Monitoring Information System will be provided through the MConnect interoperability platform.
