The agency's press service said that in November, the Customs Service transferred almost 3.3 billion lei to the budget. From November 25 to December 1, the customs revenues exceeded 841.1 million lei, which is 9.3% more than the planned level. At the same time, during the last reporting week, 3.5 percent (29.5 million lei) of the total amount were taxes on customs clearance of goods imported to Moldova by individuals, exceeding the tax-free limit. This money collected from taxpayers goes directly to the state budget and is redistributed for salaries, infrastructure development, social projects, etc. During the week customs officers processed about 12.2 thousand declarations, and the number of crossings of the state border by vehicles amounted to more than 67 thousand.
