The Chisinau Municipal Council has approved the budget for 2024 with a deficit of 647.7 million lei
According to the draft document, the municipal budget revenues will amount to 7.71 billion lei, of which 3.97 billion lei will come in the form of transfers from the state budget, while the expenditures are set at 8.3 billion lei. The deficit is planned to be covered from last year's balances (175.2 million lei), as well as from internal and external credits - 750 million and 109.4 million lei, respectively. According to the draft, 156.3 million lei will be allocated for the repayment of external credits, while 146.8 million lei will be allocated for the repayment of internal credits. // 31.07.2024 - InfoMarket
