Last week, the Customs Service provided the budget with more than 644 million lei, which is 30% higher than the figure planned for this period.
According to the press service of the department, from 20 to 26 September customs officers processed more than 13.2 thousand declarations. Vehicles crossed the state border 64.6 thousand times, and the largest traffic was registered at the customs posts in Leuseni and Sculeni (almost 16 thousand and, accordingly, 11.3 thousand crossings). Last week, 202 violations of customs legislation were registered, for which fines totaling 152 thousand lei were charged. The most common violations are related to exceeding the period of stay of vehicles with foreign numbers on the territory of Moldova. In total, since the beginning of September, the deductions of the Customs Service to the budget amounted to 2 billion 321 million lei, which is 31% more than the indicator planned for this period and 35% more than in the same period last year. // 27.09.2021 - InfoMarket
