This was stated by Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Eugen Osmochescu while speaking at the Moldovan Wine Festival in Bucharest, where more than 40 Moldovan wineries presented their wines. The head of the Ministry of Agriculture said he was pleased to see that Moldovan products are appreciated abroad and, above all, that Moldovan wine is gaining an increasingly prominent place in foreign markets. "Romania remains the main export market for Moldovan wines, with exports totaling approximately $45 million in 2025. About 70 Moldovan wineries are represented on the Romanian market," noted Eugen Osmochescu. He expressed hope that the introduction to Moldovan wine would not end with the festival. "The wines introduced here will be in demand in other countries, will find their way onto people's tables, and will carry the taste and name of the Republic of Moldova abroad," emphasized the Minister of Agriculture. He thanked the Moldovan Embassy in Romania and the National Bureau of Grapes and Wine for their contribution to organizing and promoting this event. // 07.09.2026 — InfoMarket
