Remittances to Moldova rose by 24.6% in the first eight months of 2026

The volume of remittances to Moldova via banks has increased significantly over the first eight months of this year, although August showed mixed trends: following July's peak, inflows declined compared to the previous month but remained significantly higher than last year's level. The National Bank also disclosed how the currency composition of remittances is changing and which categories of transactions are included in the statistics.
