Thus, thanks to the decision adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers, the maternity allowance will also be calculated based on the insured income of the child’s father, regardless of the parents’ marital status, provided that he acknowledges paternity. Consequently, no child will be disadvantaged due to the parents’ marital status, and mothers will not lose state support when the family pays contributions to the state social security system.
