Moldova is preparing to launch a national traceability system for tobacco products, which is intended to strengthen control over the movement of products throughout the supply chain and help combat illicit trade. At the same time, the law significantly tightens regulations for the market for tobacco and nicotine-containing products, including restrictions on sales, labeling, and advertising.
