The head of state had previously signed a decree appointing a new government. The government’s action plan, “European Economy, Effective State,” identifies five main priorities: restarting the economy and attracting investment; using the EU accession process to modernize the country; creating an efficient and digital state; strengthening security and the rule of law; and improving citizens’ quality of life. Among its key tasks are reducing bureaucracy, digitizing government services, developing infrastructure, modernizing agriculture, investing in education and healthcare, reforming the pension system, and expanding social services. “This government’s priority is to restore trust, energy, and initiative in the economy—not through optimistic rhetoric, but through decisions that show people it is worth investing, working, and building here, at home.
