The Ministry of Energy released these figures last week while presenting information on the operation of Moldova's energy system. As noted, more than 3,600 tons of gasoline (compared to 4,900 tons the previous week) were imported into our country from Romania and Bulgaria, and over 10,800 tons of diesel fuel (11,9 thousand tons) came from Romania, Greece, India, Saudi Arabia, and Oman. Fuel stocks at oil depots, the port of Giurgiulești, and gas stations remained stable, with no significant fluctuations. Regarding the thermal power sector, the Ministry of Energy reported that Termoelectrica and CET-Nord did not report any incidents or breakdowns at their cogeneration plants, which simultaneously produce electricity and heat. The plants operated normally throughout the week. The Ministry of Energy stated that it will continue to publish a weekly overview of the situation in the energy sector, including data on consumption, supply, imports, and the operation of key energy infrastructure. // 26.10.2026 — InfoMarket.
