Energy Minister Dorin Junghietu made this announcement while presenting data on the country's energy supply in the context of the state of emergency in the energy sector. He explained that over the past 24 hours, the country received approximately 620 tons of AI-95 gasoline from Bulgaria and 3,000 tons of diesel fuel from Romania, Saudi Arabia, and India. Current reserves are sufficient to meet gasoline demand for approximately 30 days and diesel fuel demand for 10 days. Speaking about electricity, Dorin Junghietu noted that with consumption currently projected at about 12,000 MWh, approximately 33% of that volume will be covered by local production, primarily from renewable sources. Another 32% will come from Ukraine, and 35% from Romania. Regarding natural gas, the Minister of Energy reported that yesterday's total gas consumption by households, businesses, and district heating facilities amounted to about 1 million cubic meters. This morning, the price of gas at the TTF gas hub stood at 69 euros/MWh, which is lower than the previous day's figures. One of the factors affecting the market is the decline in gas consumption in China, which is easing the pressure on LNG volumes available on the international market. At the same time, gas storage facilities in Europe are approximately 71% full, which is below the five-year average (87%). Dorin Junghietu said he would continue to regularly inform citizens about the situation in the energy sector, noting that in these difficult times, people need, above all, clear, up-to-date, and transparent information. // 30.09.2026 — InfoMarket.
