According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, starting today and through October 30, farmers can submit applications for financial assistance under the initiatives "Support for the Establishment of Farms by Young and Beginning Farmers" and "Support for Small Farmers and Family Farms in Rural Areas." This is the first call for proposals announced under the Strategic Program of Agricultural Policies for 2026–2030, which is funded under the reform program linked to Moldova's Economic Growth Plan for 2025–2027. Under these calls for proposals, young and beginning farmers can receive support amounting to 70% (up to 3 million lei per project), while small farmers and family farms can receive 60–70% (up to 2 million lei per project). Financial assistance is provided in accordance with selection criteria, eligibility requirements, a list of eligible activities and expenses, and taking into account the intensity of support and other conditions, as set forth in the description of the relevant measures of the Strategic Agricultural Policy Program for 2026–2030 and in the internal procedures of the Agency for Agricultural Interventions and Payments (AIPA). Applications may be submitted to AIPA's regional offices. At the same time, the Center for Agricultural and Rural Consulting will conduct a training program titled "Farm Management and Development," designed for farmers planning to apply for subsidies in these areas. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry urges farmers who meet the established requirements to submit their applications by the specified deadlines and to familiarize themselves in advance with the list of required documents and the conditions for receiving financial support. //01.10.2026 — InfoMarket.
