In Moldova, commercial agents will be able to receive compensation upon termination of a contract

Moldova is preparing changes to the rules governing commercial agents: upon termination of a contract, they will be entitled to compensation and reimbursement for losses, and the terms of post-contractual restrictions will be more clearly defined. The amendments are intended to make agency relationships more predictable and bring national legislation into line with European standards; however, a final decision has yet to be made by parliament.
