The National Road Administration has announced a tender for the periodic maintenance of a 10-kilometer section of the R3 national highway between Chișinău, Hînceşti, Cimişlia, Basarabeasca, and the border with Ukraine. The work will be carried out on the section between kilometer markers 42.15 and 52.15—from the vicinity of the village of Bozieni to the village of Hîrtop, in the area of the villages of Fetița and Gura Galbenei. The project includes milling the road surface and patching potholes, the restoration of damaged sections, the filling of cracks, the application of thin cold bituminous layers, and the application of road markings using reflective microgranules to improve visibility at night. The work is expected to take 3 months, and the estimated contract value is 15.82 million lei, excluding VAT. Funding will come from the Road Fund.
