According to the Ministry of Finance, the following sources financed the deficit for the first four months of 2026: domestic sources (7 billion 612 million lei), external sources (2 billion 877 million lei), and the change in the cash balance (minus 4 billion 703.9 million lei). It should be noted that Moldova's state budget deficit in 2025 amounted to 15 billion 712.4 million lei, 2 billion 622.6 million lei (20%) higher than the 2024 figure. // 02.06.2026 – InfoMarket.
