As the InfoMarket agency was informed by the National Bank of Moldova, the state’s debt to the International Monetary Fund increased in January-December 2023 by 18.8% - from $943.68 million (at the end of 2022) to $1 billion 121.52 million (at the end of 2023), to the International Development Association (IDA), part of the World Bank group, increased by 3.4% - from $781.53 million to $808.07 million, to the European Investment Bank - increased by 2.3 % - from $397.26 million to $406.56 million, and to the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), part of the WB group, increased by 1.8 times - from $144.6 million to $261.06 million. Direct government debt to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development decreased by 8.6% - from $345.1 million to $315.23 million, to the European Commission - increased by 58.3% - from $186.16 million to $294.71 million.
