This is stated in the materials of the Ministry of Finance for the draft Law on the State Budget for 2024, which was approved by the government on Friday. As noted, in particular, in 2024 Moldova plans to receive grants to support the budget in the amount of 1 billion 906.9 million lei (equivalent to 82.5 million euros and $10 million), as well as grants for projects financed from external sources, in the amount of 488.2 million lei (equivalent to $25.8 million). At the same time, about 99.8% of the total amount will be grants from international organizations, and the share of grants from governments of other states will be 0.2%. In particular, to support the state budget in 2024, Moldova plans to receive grants from the European Commission and the World Bank in the amount of 1 billion 906.9 million lei, including $10 million (equivalent to 189.3 million lei) from the World Bank in the form of a contribution for DPO (Operations for development policy), 35 million euros (728.7 million lei) - budgetary support from the EU, 27.5 million euros (572.5 million lei) - in the form of macro-financial support from the EU, as well as 20 million euros (416.4 million lei) in the form of budget support for MGrow. // 01.12.2023 – InfoMarket.
