
Moldovagaz tops the list of 10 Moldovan companies with the largest revenues in 2021 - SEE Top 100.
According to the annual SEE Top 100 rating prepared by SeeNews, Moldovagaz's revenues in 2021 amounted to 321.2 million euros (+48.6% compared to 2020). The Top 10 most profitable companies in Moldova in 2021 also include: the agricultural company Agrifloris-Nord - 293.2 million euros (2.1 times more than in the previous year); trading company Moldretail Group - 286 million euros (+28.5%); importers of oil products Lukoil-Moldova - 285.5 million euros (+36.5%) and Rompetrol Moldova - 223.4 million euros (+25.4%); Loteria Nationala a Moldovei - 213 million euros (an increase of 8.6 times); Premier Energy – EUR 205.2 million (+1.7%); Orange Moldova - 145.8 million euros (+4.7%); Termoelectrica - 136.9 million euros (+31.5%); Metro Cash & Carry Moldova - 126.4 million euros (+16.1%). At the same time, 8 of the 10 most profitable companies in Moldova in 2021 received a net profit, and 2 ended the year with a loss. In particular, Moldovagaz suffered losses - 9.1 million lei (in 2020, the company's losses amounted to 32 million euros) and Agrofloris - Nord - 8.6 million euros (against losses of 3.8 million euros a year earlier). Orange Moldova received the largest net profit - 17.3 million euros (-10.8%) and Moldretail Group - 13.2 million euros (an increase of 1.6 times over the year). Next in terms of net profit are: Termoelectrica - 8.5 million euros (in 2020, a loss of 0.2 million euros); Loteria Nationala a Moldovei - 5 million euros (against losses of 0.5 million euros), Lukoil - Moldova - 2.9 million euros (-42%), Premier Energy - 2 million euros (-33.3%), Rompetrol Moldova – 0.5 million euros (-53.3%). It is worth noting that none of the Moldovan companies entered the top 100 largest companies in Southeast Europe in terms of income received. The rating includes companies with revenues ranging from 698.7 million to 6 billion euros.
