The Ministry of Finance announced the start of payments of indexed amounts to depositors of Banca de Economii, who applied before the end of 2021.
The Ministry of Finance informs that the indexed sums corresponding to the first and second stages are paid to depositors of Banca de Economii born before 1991 in both cases. The money can be received at any Poşta Moldovei office/agency, upon presentation of identity documents. Heirs should additionally present the certificate of death and a notarized copy of the certificate of inheritance. Depositors born before 1991, who did not submit, due to various reasons, an application for indexation of deposits at Banca de Economii may do it now at any office/agency of Poşta Moldovei, presenting an identity card and a savings book opened before January 1, 1992. The state budget law for the current year provides for 86 million lei to pay indexed deposits to depositors of Banca de Economii. At the first stage, the indexation of deposits of the population is carried out at a ratio of 1 ruble to 1 leu for the first thousand rubles on all accounts. The second stage of indexation of deposits envisages payments in the ratio of 2.5 rubles to 1 leu on accounts with a balance of more than 1 thousand rubles for one depositor. // 29.04.2022 – InfoMarket
