The Chisinau Mayor's office has announced several tenders for the arrangement of paid parking lots in the capital.
As mayor general of Chisinau municipality Ion Ceban mentioned, in particular, tenders have been announced to study the possibilities of introducing a parking management system and developing schemes for organizing traffic in the central zone of the capital. According to him, in the first case, the municipality will receive a strategy based on short, medium and long term perspectives for managing paid parking lots in Chisinau. Also, a tender was announced for the development of traffic management schemes in the central part in the perimeter of Ismail -A. Mateevici-M. Viteazul-Albisoara streets. The project provides for the arrangement of car parks in the central zone at the expense of the carriageway lanes. The announcement of the competition and accompanying documents were published on the electronic platform achizitii.md. Applications for participation in the competition can be submitted until April 4. “We encourage specialized companies to participate in open tenders, in which each participant has the opportunity to present their proposals,” stressed Ion Ceban. The head of the capital also added that in the near future a tender will be announced for the construction of car parkings in the central district of the capital.
