According to the National Health Insurance Agency (CNAM) , about 70% of this amount (1 billion 051 million lei) for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with COVID-19 will be allocated from the main fund. Of this sum, 1 billion 014 million lei is planned for the treatment of 90 thousand patients with coronavirus, 25.5 million lei - for the diagnosis of coronavirus in outpatient medical institutions, 11.4 million lei - for the provision of ambulance services and the distribution of patients with COVID-19. In addition, 412 million lei will be allocated from the main fund to pay the medical staff involved in the fight against the new coronavirus the 100% salary supplement. It is also reported that CNAM has planned 5 million lei in the preventive measures fund to cover the costs of vaccines against COVID-19, but if necessary, the company will allocate another 10 million lei from the reserve fund.
