More than 100 foreign entrepreneurs interested in investing in Moldova and Romania got acquainted with the investment opportunities of our country at the webinar "Go International: Romania and Moldova"
General Director of the Investment Agency of the Republic of Moldova Rodica Verbeniuc told the entrepreneurs about the investment climate, investment advantages of Moldova and the possibilities of business development in our country. She noted the strategic geographic location of the country, the business-friendly tax system and the constant openness to establish serious and transparent business relationships with partners around the world. During the online event, the participating companies got acquainted with investment opportunities and the most competitive sectors in the market of Moldova and Romania. The webinar allows companies to later identify partners with whom they want to work, enter into contracts and establish business relationships. Moldova was also represented by Marina Bzovîi, Executive Director of the Association of Information Technology and Communication Companies (ATIC), who presented the ICT sector, one of the most strategic sectors in our country with great investment potential. This is evidenced by the volume of exports of ICT products and services, which in 2019 exceeded 5 billion lei, and the export of IT services increased 3 times - from 1.1 billion lei in 2015 to 3.5 billion lei in 2019, significantly exceeding the traditionally exported product - wine - by more than 400 million lei.
