
The net profit of Moldovan banks in January-November 2022 amounted to 3 billion 551.4 million lei, an increase of 1 billion 401.6 million lei (+65.2%) compared to the same period in 2021.
As InfoMarket agency reported earlier, back in August, the net profit of banks since the beginning of this year exceeded the figures for the whole of 2021. According to the National Bank of Moldova, profit for 11 months of this year received all 11 banks. At the same time, more than 2 billion 967.9 million lei (83.6% of the total net profit fell on the share of 4 banks): maib, Moldindconbank, Victoriabank and OTP Bank. Another 7 banks earned approximately 583.5 million lei of net profit. Herewith, for all 11 banks that received profit in January-November 2022, its volumes increased compared to the same period in 2021. As follows from the data provided by the National Bank, in particular, for 11 months in 2022, the largest net profit was received by: maib - 1 billion 070.1 million lei (in January-November 2021 - 649.12 million lei), Moldindconbank - 878.5 million lei (624.68 million), Victoriabank - 617.8 million lei (291.32 million) and OTP Bank - 401.5 million lei (276.96 million).
