
Government to establish a management company for the Moldova HiTech Park advanced Technology Park with a 55% state share
This is provided for in a draft government resolution on the establishment of a management company for the Moldova HiTech Park Advanced Technology Park. It will be a limited liability company, with 55% of the capital belonging to the state through the Public Property Agency, 15% to the Chisinau Municipal Council, 15% to the Stauceni City Council, and 7.5% each to the Technical University of Moldova and the N. Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy. The company's authorized capital will be 3 million lei and will be formed from the contributions of the founders. The state's share of 1.65 million lei is provided for in the 2025 budget of the Public Property Agency, and the contributions of the other participants will be financed from their own funds. The resolution will ensure the legal registration of the management company, the launch of the process of attracting residents, investments, and the management of the park's infrastructure. At the initial stage, the founding documents will be prepared, management bodies will be established, and infrastructure preparation work will be carried out. As noted in the explanatory note to the project, from 2026, it is planned to attract additional funds from external partners for the development of the Park. The project is considered strategic for the modernization of state support instruments for the economy, the development of technologies, and applied research. As a reminder, in July, the Moldovan parliament approved a bill to create Moldova HiTech Park for the implementation of a 30-year project of national importance. It will be located in the administrative territory of Stauceni (Chisinau municipality), on a 50-hectare plot of land owned by the state and managed by the Public Property Agency. The Park will be organized as a micro-city with multiple functions, including office buildings, laboratories, research facilities, university campuses, residential areas, conference centers, and infrastructure for testing and prototyping.
