
The National Programme for Moldova's Accession to the European Union for 2025-2029 has been published in the Official Monitor, with expenditures amounting to 65.8 billion lei.
This is the main document for guiding, planning and monitoring the implementation of the commitments made and accepted during the negotiations on Moldova's accession to the EU, which will also serve as an internal monitoring and reporting tool on regulatory and implementation actions, as well as for monitoring. The programme includes sections dedicated to 33 accession chapters, which cover all key areas - from fundamental rights and economy to environmental protection and digitalisation: the 33 accession chapters correspond to the 6 clusters described in the methodological framework for the negotiations established by the European Commission (fundamental values, internal market, competitiveness and inclusive growth, green agenda and sustainable connectivity, natural resources, agriculture and cohesion, external relations). The costs of implementing the National Accession Program for 2025-2029 are estimated at 65 billion 869.85 million lei, including approximately 6 billion 282.84 million lei - costs planned in the medium-term expenditure budget, 15 billion 410.5 million lei will be covered by external assistance, and more than 52.5 billion lei are still uncovered costs.// 02.06.2025 – InfoMarket.
