Moldovan MPs submitted 166 legislative initiatives during the spring 2024 session
The press service of the supreme legislative body reported this, noting that, according to statistics, the parliamentary faction of the Action and Solidarity party submitted 110 draft laws to Parliament and proposed 145 amendments. MPs Veronica Rosca (35), Igor Chiriac (25) and Roman Rosca (22) submitted the most bills. During the same period, the faction of the Communist and Socialist Bloc submitted 35 draft laws to parliament and proposed 22 amendments. MPs Petru Burduja (14), Tatiana Cunetchi (14) and Vladimir Odnostalco (11) submitted the most drafts. Unaffiliated and independent MPs submitted 4 drafts and 11 amendments. During the spring session of the parliament, 8 draft laws were presented in the parliament and signed by MPs from different factions, while 9 were submitted by the Standing Bureau. Also, according to the statistics, the government submitted 85 draft laws to the parliament, Moldovan President Maia Sandu - 21 draft laws, and the People's Assembly of ATU Gagauzia - 2 draft laws.
