Energocom will purchase about 308,223 MWh of electricity from Moldavskaya GRES in June, which will amount to more than 92.1% of the required volume.
The state-owned company announced this on Tuesday, informing about the approval of the electricity supply schedule from the Moldavian State District Power Plant for June. As noted in the Energocom report, according to the forecast for June, the needs of consumers on the right bank of the Dniester amount to approximately 334,613 MWh. At the same time, about 308,223 MWh will be purchased from the Moldavian State District Power Plant, and about 21,528 MWh will be provided from electricity produced by thermal power plants and from renewable sources. The remaining required volume of approximately 4,862 MWh will be purchased from the OPCOM exchange to cover, in particular, consumption during peak hours. As InfoMarket reported, in October 2023, Energocom signed a new long-term contract for the supply of electricity with the Moldavskaya GRES, which will be valid until the end of 2024, and the cost of this electricity will remain at the same level - $66 per MW. // 28.05.2024 — InfoMarket.
