Moldova intends to become the most business-friendly state in the EU by 2030 - Dorin Recean.
Moldovan Prime Minister said this while speaking at the 10th Central and Eastern Europe Annual Investment Conference held in Bucharest. He urged investors to explore Moldova's economic potential, noting the government's actions to create a favorable investment climate. "We are debureaucratizing, digitalizing, modernizing the economy, but above all, we are integrating into the European Union at an unprecedented speed. We aim to become the most business-friendly state in the EU by 2030," Prime Minister emphasized. In this context, he spoke about the steps taken by the authorities to promote the economic development. Dorin Recean praised Moldova IT Park's successes and the plans to expand its activity and provide new international business services. He emphasized that Moldova is also making progress in the development of the capital market, as well as in its integration with the Bucharest Stock Exchange. On the other hand, Prime Minister said that in the regional context, our country is going through a difficult period, but the problems should be turned into opportunities. "I am convinced that in most cases, risks should not be avoided, but managed. After Ukraine, Moldova was the country most affected by the war in Ukraine, but we managed to amortize the economic shock and return to growth," Dorin Recean told the participants in the meeting. This year, the main theme of the Central and Eastern Europe Annual Investment Conference was the evolution of capital markets over the last decade and the prospects for the future. The participants analyzed the pace and direction of growth and development of Central and Eastern European countries. // 10.05.2024 - InfoMarket.
