Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization: About 60% of public services in Moldova have been digitized.
The head of the ministry, Dumitru Alaiba, wrote on his page in one of the social networks that, as early as last summer the level of digitization of public services was 38%, and only in the first quarter of 2024 the level of digitization of public services for entrepreneurs increased from 48.2% to 59%. "Entrepreneurs know: digitalization promotes efficiency, reduces costs and lost time. Digitalization promotes transparency and reduces the risk of corruption. Faster, safer, easier, cheaper. That is why 7 out of 10 requests are already done online," said Dumitru Alaiba. He assured that the digitalization of public services will continue. It should be noted that the services of only 12 ministries and departments are fully digitized, while in general, digitalization has covered 273 out of 463 public services in the country.
